Software Engineer Frontend (Next.JS) 

ContentCreator.com's engineering team is seeking an experienced Software Engineer with a passion for developing performant, maintainable, and clean modern web applications. You’ll help set the direction of frontend development on our marketplace ContentCreatorTemplates.com with the codebase written in React using Next.js 13+. We're looking for an engineer with a love for simplifying UI and creating beautiful, easy-to-use / understand interfaces.

This is a 100% remote position. ContentCreator.com has an office in Asheville, NC but works as a remote team.

What You'll Do:

• Take full ownership for building, shipping, and maintaining the UI & Front End development of ContentCreatorTemplates.com 
• Assist with continually updating our UI code base including but not limited too: Reach, Next.js 13+, Sanity headless CMS, Shadcn, typescript
• Help define the direction of Front End development at ContentCreatorTemplates.com putting best practices in place to help build a maintainable codebase
• Collaborate with founders and CTO to design and build features that improve product value
• Build, document, and maintain tests, features, and infrastructure when needed
• Communicate and author architectural designs and requirements
• Invent patterns and reusable components that our growing team can assemble to continue to build things
• Maintain and advocate for high standards through code review and collaboration with other engineers

What We're Looking For:

• You have 5+ years of experience building React-based web applications at scale
• You have significant experience with relevant web technologies (React, Javascript, Typescript, CSS)
• You have a deep understanding of modern web architecture and server-side rendering
• You have built and maintained complex, highly interactive frontend UI
• You have excellent frontend debugging skills, and a deep understanding of how to build and optimize for performance
• You have strong communication skills and the ability to work well cross-functionally
• You have strong product and design sensibilities and enjoy perfecting the details that matter most to users
• Bonus: You have direct experience with a customer facing Next.js applications

The founders self-funded ContentCreatorTemplates.com and plan to reinvest 90% of all profits back into growth & team. The goal is to never sell this marketplace because it fits into a larger life-long vision of empowering content creators to change the world for the better.

Location:
ContentCreator.com is a remote team with a compound in Asheville, North Carolina. Much of the team is Asheville-based, but we're open to all US-based candidates for this role. We welcome staff in the office (if they prefer), but working remotely is ok.
